How do I book a session?
Booking is easy! Simply reach out through the contact form on my website or email me directly at contact@capturedbykristenmarie.com. Once we confirm your date and session type, a non-refundable retainer is required to secure your spot.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions can take place at a location of your choice, whether that’s outdoors, at your home, or in a studio setting. I’m happy to offer suggestions for locations that will complement your session style.
How long is a typical session?
Session length varies by type:
Family/Couples/Portrait: ~1 hour
Maternity: 45–60 minutes
Newborn: 1.5–2 hours (to accommodate feeding and soothing)
Can I extend the session on the day of?
As long as I do not have prior commitments, then absolutely! We can discuss cost prior to adding the extended time.
How many photos will I receive?
Depending on the session, you’ll receive 15–25+ professionally edited high-resolution images delivered via an online gallery for easy download and sharing. This may vary depending on the occasion being photographed as well.
When will I receive my photos?
You can expect your fully edited images within 2–3 weeks of your session.
What should I wear for my session?
Choose outfits that make you feel confident and comfortable. Neutral tones and coordinating colors often work best. I can provide guidance to help your session look cohesive and timeless.
Do you offer travel sessions?
Yes! I offer travel sessions for special locations or events outside the local area. Travel fees may apply depending on distance.
Can I reschedule if something comes up?
Yes, sessions can be rescheduled with at least 3 days notice. Please contact me as soon as possible if you need to change your date.
